The distinction between The Zero and Classic lies in the pricing of the account. In the Zero, spreads begin from 0.0 pips, accompanied by a $4.50 commission. On the other hand, the Classic account incorporates the commission within the spread. The overall cost of trading with the Zero amounts to approximately 0.5 pips, while the Classic account totals around 0.9 pips, inclusive of all expenses.
On our Classic account, the average spread for currency pairs such as EURUSD is 0.92, including commissions.
Please note that the average spreads mentioned in our product list are applicable to the Zero account . To obtain the average spreads for your Classic account, you need to add the spread rate indicated on the product list to 0.9.
For example, if the EURUSD spread for the Zero account is 0.2, then the corresponding spread for the classic account would be 0.2 + 0.9 = 1.1.
Yes, you may change from a Zero to a Classic account, as well as change from a Classic to a Zero account. Just send us a request at [email protected], and we will change it for you.
The minimum trade size will depend on the product that you are trying to trade. For currency pairs, metals, indices and crypto the minimum is 0.01 (often 10c per pip). For equities, the minimum trade size is 0.1. For soft commodities, the minimum is 1.
Please be aware that different products have different notional values. We advise you to place trades on a demo account to familiarise yourself with these different trade sizes.
